Jasmine Kate Wickens (she/her)

Forever a work in progress, I am a self-defined weaver of energy, words and symbols that stir, soothe and support the soul. I have been walking my own darkly complex road from trauma to healing and hope, and I now find myself deeply passionate about sharing my creative practice and holding space for others.

I currently identify as a cis-gender, white british, queer, mad, disabled, neurodivergent woman. Born in Luton, England I now live in Edinburgh, Scotland; I am currently in the process of re-establishing myself into life and service after a period of dedicated recovery, due to long-term c-PTSD, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I find deep enjoyment in studying, personal transformation and spending time outdoors - especially at the beach.

I have a bold vision and many gestating ideas for what I hope to offer in my many years of service, and I im incredibly excited about each possibility; but for now, I welcome you to join me on the fine thread which splits light from dark, as I offer my writing, creative practice + ritual space for you,  on this shared journey of self-directed healing.

  • somatic movement + energy work

practice

My practice is multi-disciplinary, spanning the tangible and intangible. Trained in design, as I return to creating as a cathartic practice and form of expression, the edges between personal practice and service are being woven together, integrating art with space holding, as a ritual act of co-creation. Through this sharing of practice in communal space, I intend to de-stigmatise and soften the fear which is held around approaching grief and inner healing work, by offering candid insight with gentle support. I am open to commissions and collaborations.

learning journey

A lifelong learner, my curiosity reaches into the realms of mysticism, astrology, spirituality, somatics, grief-tending, deep ecology and holistic + naturopathic healing. Like my own journey of self-directed healing, I have chosen a self-defined pathway to become a practitioner, opting to hone my craft through dedicated self-study, working with teachers, personal exploration and direct practice.
